Lister Nova 240 volt Portable Plant with Sensor
This double insulated machine is designed for portable small-block shearing plus dagging and crutching in races and on trailers. The Nova mains operated machine operates at 2800 rpm, through a 1.8mt flexible drive. The ultra low starting current makes it ideal for use with portable generators as well as mains electricity. The motor has a standard rope pull on/off switch.
Electronic lock-up sensor - the Nova Sensor machine (240 volt) has a current sensor to protect the user in the event of a lock-up on the handpiece. This works by automatically stopping the machine if the handpiece hits an obstruction in the wool.
New flexible downtube suits standard handpiece ferrules

If you want to use a spline drive handpiece on a flexi, every time you switch the machine off, the handpiece may fall away from the flexi). It is recommended to use a Pin-drive handpiece on flexible downtubes.
